On February 27th, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection organized a Public Consultation to discuss the TSA State Program until 2030 and its Action Plan for 2024-2026.
The event welcomed relevant ministries and agencies, civil society organizations, international organizations, and development partners.
The Public Consultation provided stakeholders with an opportunity to contribute their perspectives and recommendations, shaping the future direction of the TSA State Program which aims to safeguard and reduce the vulnerability of low-income families and socially unprotected citizens. Aligned with the key priorities and objectives of the National Development Strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan until 2030 and the Social Protection Development Strategy of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan until 2040, the program plays a pivotal role in advancing social welfare, inclusivity, and poverty reduction in the country.
This even was organized as part of the “Effective Governance for Economic Development” program (#EGED), supported by the UK in Tajikistan, implemented by Acted and the World Bank Tajikistan.
